Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the LEAD IMPACT Migration Sentinel System (“LIMSS” or the “Platform”), operated by LEAD IMPACT Migration Sentinel System LLC(“we,” “us”). By accessing the Platform you agree to these terms.
1. Authorized use
Access is restricted to authorized users. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, internal analytical purposes and not to share credentials, scrape, resell, or redistribute its content or outputs without written permission.
2. Intellectual property
The Platform, its methodology, scores, reports, and all related materials are the proprietary and confidential property of LEAD IMPACT Migration Sentinel System LLC. No ownership or license is granted except the limited right to use the Platform as intended.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Plans. Paid access is offered under the subscription plans described on our pricing page and at checkout, billed monthly or annually. Each plan sets how many people your organization may add and how many reports it may generate each month. Enterprise and other custom arrangements are governed by the terms agreed with us in writing.
Who you are buying from. Self-serve subscriptions are sold and processed through Stripe’s Managed Payments service, in which Link (a Stripe company) acts as the reseller and merchant of record for the transaction. Your purchase will appear as “Sold through Link”, and your card statement will show a descriptor beginning “LINK.COM*”. Link’s own terms apply to the payment itself; these terms govern your use of the Platform. We never receive or store your full card number.
Taxes. Prices are shown exclusive of applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. Any tax due is calculated at checkout based on your billing location and is collected and remitted by Stripe/Link as merchant of record.
Free trial. Self-serve plans start with a 3-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it, and the trial includes up to 3 reports. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts automatically and your payment method is charged the plan price for the billing period you chose. Trials arranged directly with us follow the terms agreed at the time.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive billing periods at the then-current price until canceled. We will give reasonable advance notice before a price increase takes effect on your next renewal.
Cancellation. Your organization’s administrator can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing, or through your Link account at link.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or billing period, and access continues until then; canceling during the free trial means you are not charged. Deleting your organization cancels its subscription. If you are the only administrator of an organization with an active subscription, you must cancel the subscription before you can delete your own account.
Failed payments. If a payment fails and is not resolved, we may suspend or limit access until it is.
Refunds. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused reports. Refund requests may also be handled by Link support, and Stripe may issue a refund within 60 days of a transaction in certain cases, such as to resolve a dispute.
[FLAG FOR COUNSEL] The refund position above is a draft default, not a decided policy — confirm it (or set a different one, e.g. a pro-rated or goodwill refund window). Also confirm how it interacts with consumer withdrawal/cooling-off rights for EU/UK buyers of digital services (Stripe applies regional cooling-off periods under Managed Payments), and whether prices should instead be shown tax-inclusive.
4. No warranty; analytical nature
LIMSS produces provisional risk indicators from public-domain sources at an aggregate/region level. It is not a forecast, and not operational, legal, humanitarian, or investment advice. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Some report content, including narrative summaries and contextual background (e.g. a “Geopolitical context” section), is generated by an AI (large language model) system from the underlying source data and is provided for informational purposes only. It may be incomplete, may reflect gaps in available source coverage, and should be independently verified before being relied upon.
[FLAG FOR COUNSEL] Whether AI-generated content requires its own standalone disclosure/consent clause (beyond folding it into the existing “provisional” language above), and how that interacts with any applicable AI-transparency regulation, is left to counsel.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEAD IMPACT Migration Sentinel System LLC is not liable for any decision made, or action taken, in reliance on the Platform, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a paid subscription is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
6. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
[FLAG FOR COUNSEL] Whether to add mandatory arbitration and a class-action waiver — common in subscription SaaS terms, but a deliberate legal/business tradeoff — is left to counsel rather than decided here.
7. Changes
We may update these terms or the Platform at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
